Responsibilities:
1. You create group-wide standards on chemical safety in the context of HSE
2. You monitor legal requirements and derive recommendations for action in close cooperation with the existing working groups within the Freudenberg Group
3. You advise the business groups and locations on all questions of chemical safety and the legally compliant handling of dangerous chemicals in laboratories or production
4. You carry out audits at the group's locations (national and international).
5. You develop, plan and conduct training on chemical safety and related topics
6. You work closely with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. authorities) on chemical safety issues
7. If necessary, you will support the teams within the HSE department with cross-sectional tasks
Qualifications:
8. You have completed a university degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or natural sciences with a chemical focus
9. You have at least five years of professional experience in the required field of work
10. You have in-depth knowledge of the relevant legal and technical regulations in the areas of occupational safety, chemical safety and marketing (including REACH).
11. Ideally, you have completed training as an occupational safety specialist (FASI)
12. Training as an internal auditor for environmental and occupational health management systems is an advantage
13. You have a strong willingness to travel (approx. 30%)
14. Your personality is characterized by strong communication skills and conflict resolution skills; you also stand out through entrepreneurial thinking, a sense of responsibility and an understanding of a corporate environment
15. Excellent knowledge of German and very good knowledge of English round off your profile
16. Additional training in radiation, laser and noise protection as well as hazardous goods is an advantage
