Your mission It is your job to deliver company-wide initiatives and projects with high strategic relevance for Janssen Germany. You initiate, plan and launch projects, steering them until implementation. Additionally, you proactively design concepts and solutions in alignment with Janssen EMEA and the European PMO network. In your daily routine you work closely with cross-organizational and interdisciplinary teams; supporting all members of the teams while maintaining a strategic view on the success of projects and Janssen Germany’s development along our digital roadmap. Through your work you make an important contribution towards realizing our company goals and maintaining an agile and developing organization. You lead the Project Management Office and have line management responsibility over Strategic Project Managers. You support the Director Strategy & Business Transformation in leading the organization through its digital transformation. You independently plan and steer strategic, company-wide and internal initiatives and projects, by implementing them and keeping track of their progress. Projects typically cover areas such as Digitalization, Marketing, Sales, Launch Excellence, Market Access and Human Resources. You actively generate project ideas, detail project scopes and timelines, oversee project controlling and create status updates for the Management Board and Senior Leadership Team. You regularly participate in Management Board Meetings as PMO Lead; you prepare and debrief Management Board meetings; You also cover Management Board conferences, Senior Leadership Meetings, etc. You steer external agencies by preparing and debriefing pitches, conducting negotiations with agencies, controlling budgets and leading projects. You support on an ad-hoc basis by assuming any action items resulting from Management Board decisions. Together with the Finance Team you deliver the consolidated business plan for Germany. You ensure that during projects and initiatives all relevant stakeholders are kept in the loop. You are in active exchange with your colleagues from the European PMO network and support European PMO initiatives. You enjoy close networking with external and internal clients. You have completed your university studies with excellent results, ideally in business studies, economics, health economics, natural sciences, medicine or a comparable area. You have at least five years of relevant work experience in a leading strategy consultancy (with experience in the healthcare sector) or are experienced in leading different projects in a pharmaceutical company. You display a high degree of leadership skills and are experienced in leading (international) interdisciplinary project teams; experiences in previous direct leadership responsibilities are appreciated. Ideally you are experienced in agile ways of working and/or projects about Digital transformation, data & analytics, etc. You have strong communication skills, you have a high orientation towards service and can build internal and external networks. You are able to independently and professionally assess complex, ambiguous situations and act appropriately. You are experienced in steering external agencies and service providers and can confidently handle budgets. You work independently, self-aware, results-driven and meritocratically You stand out through your analytical and strategic capabilities. You are fluent in English – both spoken and written.
