About The Role We are looking for a results-driven Account Executive to join our team and help expand Sparrow’s customer base in Europe and beyond. This role is crucial to our growth strategy, focusing on developing strong client relationships and closing new business opportunities. You’ll work closely with our Sales Director and marketing team to identify leads, understand customer needs, and showcase how Sparrow’s SaaS platform can solve real-world challenges in industries like chemical, pharmaceutical, and automotive. What You’ll Do Sales Execution : Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded. Client Relationship Management : Build and nurture strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their pain points and demonstrating how Sparrow’s solutions can add value. Product Expertise : Develop a deep understanding of Sparrow’s platform, industry applications, and competitive advantages to communicate with prospects effectively. Pipeline Management : Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring all leads and opportunities are accurately tracked and prioritized. Collaborative Selling : Partner with the Sales Director, marketing team, and customer success team to align strategies and deliver seamless customer experiences. Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. Must-Haves Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS or one of our target industries: chemical, pharmaceutical, or automotive. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to diverse stakeholders. Strong ability to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. Highly organized, with a knack for managing multiple opportunities simultaneously. Fluent in German and English with good written and verbal communication skills. A self-starter with a “hunter” mentality, eager to uncover and secure new business. Alignment with Sparrow’s values, including directness, openness, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Nice-to-Haves Experience selling enterprise-level solutions. Familiarity with AI-powered SaaS platforms or data-driven solutions. Fluency in French is a significant advantage.
