The Customer Quotation Specialist will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotes for customers, ensuring a seamless and professional quoting process. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving customer satisfaction and supporting the sales process. Key Responsibilities: Analyze customer requests for quotes (RFQs) and gather all necessary information to prepare accurate and competitive quotations. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and production, to ensure that quotes are based on current product specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines. Use pricing models and tools to calculate costs and establish appropriate pricing strategies. Ensure that all quotes are prepared in a timely manner and meet both customer and company requirements. Communicate with customers to clarify requirements, answer questions, and provide updates on the status of their quotes. Maintain accurate records of all quotations, customer interactions, and relevant documentation. Monitor and follow up on outstanding quotes to maximize conversion rates. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices for the quoting process. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor pricing strategies. Profile Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in a quoting, pricing, or sales support role, preferably within the industry sector. Strong analytical skills, negotiation skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with quoting/pricing software. Experience with ERP or CRM systems. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
