Telefónica Global Services is the Global Procurement team of the Telefónica Group that supports Telefónica Operations in Europe and Latin- America. This includes the global responsibilities in all procurement opportunities. Key Accountabilities Category Management / Category Strategy definition: Definition of a category strategy identifying actions to maximize efficiencies for Telefonica with an E2E view, including Process leadership in the implementation of the defined Category Strategy. Execution of the Negotiation/RFP process. Job holder profile Computer Science Engineer or other Engineering/Relevant studies according to the Categories identified. Technical competences: Several years of experience in a complex procurement role Probed, detailed and extended knowledge of the IT market and enterprise projects in the areas of are desired: IT Services, IT Hardware and IT Software Leadership skills Drive/ objective oriented: Ambitious/driven character constantly looking for improvement opportunities, ability to work independently with limited guidance Owner mindset : Proactive, striving to avoid all sources of inefficiencies in Telefonica spend (end-to-end) Strategic/Analytical skills Problem Solving Skills: Ability to de-compose a complex problem in a series of specific sub-items, define key analysis and derive and communicate conclusions Strong data analysis skills: Comfortable treating and analysing high amount of data to derive actionable insights/conclusions Procurement specific knowledge Negotiation and influencing skills,’ to be applied internally and with suppliers.
