Repligen is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager – Chromatography whose primary role will be to sell an expanding portfolio of highly differentiated chromatography solutions that address critical steps in the production of biologic drugs – to new and existing Biopharmaceutical customers across Europe. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of motivation to succeed, highly developed sales and territory management skill sets in the Life Sciences sector and is now looking for the next challenge at a rapidly evolving and innovative bioprocessing-focused life sciences company. Reporting directly to the Global Director of Business Development, this will be a home office-based role. 50% travel time is expected in the globally supporting a team of Bioproduction Account Managers in the region.The Business Development manager - Chromatography will be responsible for the following:Drive and build strategic plan to drive opportunities for chromatography solutions.Knowledge of Chromatography is required.Develop and execute a management plan in close collaboration with Regional Sales Director and Bioprocess Account Managers.Conduct sales negotiations with technical and planningEstablish and maintain Strategic Key Account relationshipsDevelop new target accounts across the territoryDevelop and support customers as they move through the clinical pipeline from lab-scale to full process scale solutionsProvide accurate and timely sales reporting and forecasting with a market leading CRM toolBe the customer and market advocate to the internal organizationInterface with Business and Market Development to ensure that appropriate product, market and competitive information is shared in an accurate and timely mannerThe successful candidate meets the following requirements:A minimum of a BSc degree in a relevant scientific subjectA minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or life science industries. A strong understanding of Chromatography knowledge and the entire bioprocessing workflow is important.Proven successful sales track record of sales and developing new business.Proven ability to build mutually beneficial, personable, trusting relationships with customers, suppliers and partnersLocated in EMEA and able to travel 50%Repligen offers you a competitive remuneration package, including a yearly bonus and flexible working hours.
