Manager Cyber Security (all genders welcome) within our Cyber Security department at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
Job mission: As a Manager Cyber Security, you will be responsible for safeguarding Kia Europe's digital landscape by implementing and overseeing robust IT security policies, compliance frameworks, and risk management strategies. You will drive security initiatives across all European departments, National Sales Companies, and subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and corporate guidelines. By continuously enhancing security awareness through training programs and phishing tests, you will foster a strong security culture. Additionally, you will provide expert guidance on cloud security, conduct audits, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate cybersecurity risks, ensuring the resilience and integrity of Kia Europe's digital operations.
Your responsibilities:
1. Manage the IT security across all Kia Europe departments, National Sales Companies and subsidiaries. Kia Connect.
2. Create and maintain IT security policies (some based on KHQ guidelines) and ensure that they get implemented and followed by all employees across Europe.
3. Define, implement and continuously improve IT security training plans for all European users and subsequently conduct regular phishing tests as required.
4. Provide security guidance on all operations and projects across Europe and monitor internal and external IT security policy compliance.
5. Audit IT security policies and controls including 3rd parties. Hyundai Autoever Europe.
6. Define and implement controls to manage existing threats related to cloud technologies. AWS, Azure environments.
7. Maintain all IT security tools and technology..
Your talents:
Education:
8. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Technology or a comparable experience.
Experience:
9. 5+ years’ proven experience in implementing and driving new IT security policies and procedures.
10. Strong experience in working in digital and cloud environments and assessing security risk with new technologies.
11. Experience of e-commerce environments, high-transaction volumes plus customer data.
Skills:
12. Excellent level of business English (written and spoken).
13. Strong commercial skills (thinking of security but always have a view on the business).
14. Ability to communicate effectively so stakeholders and suppliers can clearly understand complex security issues and threats and their possible impact.
15. Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently.
16. A positive, pragmatic and optimistic approach to problem-solving.
