In this exiting field we are looking for a Senior System Programmer who will join our mainframe infrastructure team to maintain and enhance our IBM Z® environments. ABOUT YOU General Skills Good analytical and problem-solving skills Good creativity & innovation Commitment to the team & its goals and working in a collaborative environment Adaptive & self-motivated to learn new skills Ability to multi-task Strong quality focus Very good communication skills in English and/or German Technical Skills Good understanding of IBM Z and z/OS architecture Good understanding of common installation, customization and maintenance practices followed in the z/OS world Open to support product developers & testers and product service & support staff Open to work in multiple technical areas across system programming, administration & operations Open to perform mainframe operations tasks like IPL as required Have experience in the following topics: Mainframe security and encryption Networking on z/OS Db2 for z/OS zPDT including knowledge of internals & Linux Administration z/OS Unix system services including shell scripting z/OS console operations z/VM Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree from reputed institutions, but master’s degree is preferred 12 years of system programming experience in the above-mentioned topics What’s in it for you?
