Tasks & responsibilities - In your new role, you will collaborate with all GFE Building Blocks - Engineering, Security, Environment Health and Safety / Sustainability, Real Estate and Facility Management to identify opportunities that bridge the gap between the current and future digital landscape. - Based on your solid expertise you will actively scout new technologies that can lead to valuable innovation projects. - Building an external innovation network to transfer innovations from other industries and companies to Boehringer Ingelheim will also be part of your main responsibilities. - With your expertise, you will setup the resulting projects to drive the digital transformation. - Moreover, you will provide guidance and support to functions and businesses throughout the digital innovation process. Additional tasks & responsibilities for the Senior role: - You will develop the projects to reach the Digital Vision to ensure a future oriented and competitive digital landscape leveraging the Boehringer Ingelheim digital community. - Furthermore, you will use Digitalization & Innovation project portfolios to select and prioritize the right projects to maximize value and success. - You will be accountable for establishing frameworks, structures, and processes that foster a culture and mindset of digital innovation. - In addition, you will have an existing network that you can use to identify and implement high value use cases. Requirements - Completed Master's degree in the field of Innovation Management, Data Analytics or similar with several years of relevant professional experience - Experience in project management, specifically in steering digital transformation projects - Excellent communication and intercultural skills at all levels of management paired with strong team leadership and development skills - Highly experienced in public speaking - Hands-on mindset with high motivation to drive innovation and digitalization and strong partner management skills - Fluent in English, with proficiency in German preferred Additional requirements for the Senior role: - Extensive experience in senior roles within digital initiatives in related industries - Profound understanding of design thinking, innovation management and emerging technologies like IoT, AI and Big Data Ready to contact us?
