Position Overview: The role involves managing information dissemination, supporting the Army Community Service (ACS) programs, and ensuring effective communication between the ACS and the military community.
Job Title: Community Information Specialist
Location: Smith Barracks, Baumholder Military Community.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM to 17:00 PM
Qualifications:
1. Education: Associate degree or equivalent education/work experience.
2. Experience: Minimum of one year of customer service experience. Experience in information and referral services is preferred.
3. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel).
4. Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD ID card and favorable background checks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet and assist customers at the front desk, both in person and over the phone.
2. Identify customer needs and provide accurate information or refer them to the appropriate service providers through the established referral process.
3. Manage appointments and class registrations, ensuring smooth operations and timely service delivery.
