Your new job includes
As a buyer (m/f/d) for wine and sparkling, you will ensure long-term, partnership-based relationships with the suppliers and brands you are responsible for and ensure market-driven product ranges and optimal conditions in order to inspire our customers.
In particular, you will
* be responsible for a portfolio of international wine suppliers
* conduct negotiations with our international suppliers to ensure the improvement of conditions, pricing and long-term supplier relationships based on partnership
* evaluate and optimize supplier structures in terms of costs, quality and performance
* analyze and evaluate the demand requirements
* carry out trend analyses and competition monitoring and visit relevant trade fairs and suppliers
* work closely with our international and national sales, marketing and fulfilment departments
Preferred Profile
* A successfully completed degree in economics and/or comparable successfully completed training as well as several years of professional experience in purchasing or product management, ideally in international trade or industry
* A particular affinity for wine and sparkling, preferably already having product group knowledge in the area of wine and sparkling
* An assertive personality who keeps a cool head even when the workload is high, works analytical and has very good communication skills
* Hands-on mentality and team spirit to support each other and celebrate joint successes
* Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
* Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel and ideally knowledge of SAP
