Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to top executives, including board members and the CEO, based on actionable insights into energy markets, industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes. Contribute to key strategic decisions by providing insights that support business development, risk management, and corporate communications, and shape corporate positions on critical energy topics. Strengthen and expand our knowledge base by overseeing and challenging the work of external analysis and intelligence providers, ensuring high quality insights for decision making. Lead complex, high impact projects, including managing top tier consultants, and take ownership of content development, ensuring alignment with E.ONs strategic objectives. Foster strong working relationships across the E.ON group, promoting knowledge sharing and cross functional collaboration to enhance strategic insights. A Convincing Background A collaborative and results oriented professional with excellent analytical and numerical skills. A proactive team player, capable of driving change with experience in leading and motivating project teams in a functional setup. A university degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Strong expertise in energy market analysis, competitive intelligence, and energy policy assessment. Experience in consultancy or intelligence roles, with proven skills in electricity market modeling (preferred but not mandatory). A strong professional network within the energy sector. Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with fluency in English (German proficiency is a plus).
