Engineer Footwear Production (m/f/d)
Your Shoes to fill:
* Thanks to you, everything is thoroughly prepared for our venture to smoothly reach the production stage: With a trained eye you check the technical feasibility, assess the samples and find practicable solutions.
* When it comes to technical developments and adjustments, you coordinate with your team and the relevant specialist department and pass on the necessary information to internal production as well as external suppliers.
* With deadlines firmly under control, you accompany and manage Serial Trials and shoe-related tests, approve the results on schedule and maintain clear documentation.
* In the case of internal and external sample productions, you will provide expert support for both pre-series and test production – directly on site.
* You always keep on top of things, especially in the quality assurance of our serial production: You will promptly identify any weak points that arise, analyze them and initiate suitable steps to quickly take countermeasures.
your walk of life:
* Technical training or studies in the shoe industry, e.g. shoe technician, orthopedic master shoemaker, industrial master shoemaker, graduate engineer in leather processing and shoe technology.
* At least 5 years of professional experience with profound know-how in technical development and production.
* Fit in MS Office and ideally SAP knowledge, knowledge of CAD programs is an advantage.
* Very good (technical) English.
* Responsible and constructive team player with a very careful and accurate way of working.
* Strong communication skills.
* Willingness to travel to our production sites.
