About the role:
You are a passionate System Architect professional, who is enthusiastic about Automotive Electronics and wants to define the future in-cabin user experience.
As Principal E/E System Architect, you are an expert for the full vehicle E/E system and you have a good high-level understanding of all domains. In our E/E Architecture Lab, you will drive the analysis of E/E architecture trends and technologies across global markets, key customers, and suppliers. With your peer architects, you will design future vehicle E/E architecture and product concepts. For our architectures you will also cover the in-cabin experience in collaboration with our product lines and system integration teams on combining our Automotive product portfolio into a seamless user experience deployed in the HARMAN AutoOne product engineering car fleet.
What You Will Do
1. Full vehicle E/E architecture SME analyzing future architecture trends and developing technology roadmaps and product concepts
2. System architect for in-cabin experience including sensors and actuators
3. Collaborate with product line SMEs, customers, and suppliers and analyse, identify, and establish industry benchmark E/E architecture design principles and best practices
4. Develop innovative E/E – and in-cabin architecture for the HARMAN AutoOne reference car in close collaboration with the product line architects and the E/E Architecture Lab domain architects
5. Support technology partner and M&A analysis
What You Need
6. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable experience
7. Strong background 8 years) in Automotive system architecture and in in-cabin experience
8. Core expertise in all E/E architecture domains and its cross interactions including vehicle-level system partitioning, vehicle function allocations and system integration
9. Technical leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire people
10. Good understanding of Functional Safety (ISO26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO21434)
11. Experience in model-based architecture, SysML and respective tooling
12. Excellent understanding of Automotive video links, displays, AR-HUDs, cockpit domain controllers and central compute units
13. Experience in project execution, product innovation and good understanding of product management as well as hands-on experience in vehicle-level System Integration
