Definition VIE The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your tasks and responsibilities
* Support in research and development projects in the field of high performance composite materials for helicopter applications and associated processes.
* Literature research and scientific evaluation of results.
* Digitalization and material data handling.
* Operational projects.
* Documentation and presentation.
Desired skills and qualifications
1. Preferably Master degree in aerospace engineering, material science, or similar.
2. Solid background and knowledge in the field of polymeric and composite materials.
3. Basic knowledge in the field of material testing.
4. Hands on experience of composites manufacturing and testing technologies would be a plus.
5. Basic knowledge of coding for data driven exchanges & data re use (vs. documents).
6. Knowledge in coding (VBA, Python) would be
