The CRC 1646 is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and investigates linguistic creativity in communication from a range of different perspectives. The position is part of project A01 “Creativity in (morpho)syntactic variation: The role of analogy” (PIs: András Bárány & Jutta M. Hartmann). A01 investigates the role of analogy in the formation of novel, creative morphological forms and syntactic structures both within and across languages considering long-distance agreement in Hungarian, as well as embedded clauses in German and other languages. 1. research tasks (95 %): scientific research in project A01 concentrating on long-distance phenomena, which ideally also forms the basis for further scientific qualification in the form of a doctorate; networking within the CRC active participation in the qualification program of the graduate school of the CRC presentation of project results at national and international conference and contribution to project publications
2. participation in the SFB organisation and self- administration (5 %)

Your Profile We expect
13. relevant, successfully completed scientific university degree (for example Master of Arts, Master of Sciences or Diploma), in linguistics with a background in formal syntax We are happy to receive applications by people who have not yet finished their scientific university degree by the time of application but expect to be finished soon at the time of hiring.
