Purpose:
* Create compelling consumer level interactive tools to respond to Market/Key Account and Brand requirements, ensuring alignment with Brand positioning and strategy and provide relevant cross-platform tools.
* Create attractive, traffic driving, KPI driven and brand aligned digital & technical innovations, to respond to Global Retail, Franchise & wholesale requirements where appropriate.
Key Accountabilities:
* Partner with the relevant Business, Brand Management, CtC & Global IT teams to create clear requirements and align briefs whilst ensuring continued alignment to Brand objectives and positioning.
* Develop permanent and semi-permanent interactive tools for any adidas label, which responds to their target consumer profile.
* Develop guidelines and tools for markets to implement the tools.
* Brief Brand Communications on requirements to ensure Brand tools are relevant for Instore Consumer Experience innovations.
* Manage inter- & cross-department knowledge sharing.
* Act as interface between the category and the wider digital Instore Consumer Experience team.
* Channel category demand from the business to the wider digital Instore Consumer Experience team.
* Utilise the work-stream of problem solving within the wider digital Instore Consumer Experience team to create concepts and ensure appropriate solutions are proposed for the category.
* Deliver qualified and fact based answers to the category.
* Represent the digital team outside of category responsibility when required.
* Improve processes.
* Monitor the Retail industry (brick and mortar and digital) for best practices that can be adapted for adidas.
* Manage change and innovations through industry analysis in Retail Communications at both the consumer level and the implementation practices.
* Review opportunities to leverage adidas pan-media platforms (brick and mortar, out-of-home, digital).
* Manage Resources:
* Manage project budgets as assigned.
* Coordinate between department tactics and operational objectives.
* Work independently and collaboratively
* Additional assignments or special projects as assigned or agreed.
Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience:
* Fully qualified and experienced in retail marketing and/or digital & technical innovations, with combined theoretical and practical knowledge.
* Strong organisation skills and flexibility
* Proven track record in project management
* English fluent: verbal, written & spoken. Another European language is an advantage.
* IT: Microsoft Office, advanced; Digital software knowledge & Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
Qualifications:
1. Business or Marketing Degree
2. 4-6 years experience in Retail Marketing and/or Digital Marketing/IT.
3. 1+ years working with global markets, or a key adidas market.
4. 1+ years project or process management experience
