YOUR TASKS AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
As an intern, you’ll have the chance to dive deep into one of the following areas, depending on your skills and interests:
* Toxicophore & QSAR Models: You will collaborate with our team to develop models that help design environmentally safe crop protection molecules
* Data Mining & Statistical Analysis: You will analyze and interpret public domain datasets in medicinal-/agrochemistry and (eco)-toxicology, providing insights that drive our research forward
* Machine Learning Applications: You will work on cutting-edge AI models to predict the environmental and toxicological properties of molecules
WHO YOU ARE
* Academic Background: You are an advanced enrolled student in a relevant field, e.g.: Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Bioinformatics, Life Science Informatics
* Organic Chemistry Experience: You have a solid foundation in organic chemistry concepts and practices
* Data Science Skills: Basic knowledge of data science and statistics is essential; familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
* Innovative Mindset: You have a passion for problem-solving and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic research environment
