The Wind Farm & Turbine Control team is seeking a Wind Turbine Control Specialist (m/f/d) to support with digital remote operations of wind farms all around the world. YOUR TASKS
1. 2nd level support for Turbine State Control topics
2. Analysis of turbine error patterns and troubleshooting and support for 1st level in troubleshooting
3. Creation of work instructions and knowledge articles
4. Collaboration with Engineering on complex errors
5. PLC field test support and error analysis
6. Creation and review of specifications for the execution of PLC software updates
7. Monitoring and reporting of the execution of mandatory updates to engineering
8. Coordination and processing of support requests in the incident ticket system
9. Parameterization of the control of wind turbines and wind farms
10. Analysis of the fleet for error clusters
YOUR PROFILE
11. Completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
12. Several years of practical experience in dealing with controls (PLC)
13. Comprehensive knowledge in Nordex Control 2 and Nordex Operating System or other comparable technologies is required
14. Network knowledge (network analysis, firewalls, switches, subnets)
15. Proficient use of Microsoft applications
16. Knowledge of Linux is an advantage
17. Result orientation & quality awareness
18. Ability to work in agile and interdisciplinary teams
19. Good English skills in speaking and writing are required
20. Willingness to travel occasionally (10%)
