As an Executive Assistant Manager (m/f/d), you will be part of the management team and assume overall responsibility for the operational area of our hotel and actively shape its further development. With your strategic thinking, your strong leadership skills and your eye for quality and guest satisfaction, you will make a significant contribution to the success of our hotel. Your tasks: - You define, implement and monitor the work processes (Policies & Procedures, Brand Assurance) in the operational departments in order to successfully achieve our hotel goals. - You will manage the hotel's operational departments, promote their continuous development and coordinate co-operation with external service providers in the operational area. - You maintain direct contact with our employees and guests and further develop processes in order to constantly increase employee and guest satisfaction. - In the absence of the General Manager, you will take on his or her tasks and responsibilities. - You coordinate the Duty Manager programme and regularly take on 'Manager On Duty' duties. - In close cooperation with the Director of Finance, you will be involved in the preparation of the hotel budget. - You create the monthly F&B forecasts, comment on the results and create corresponding reports. - You organise and lead regular meetings such as the Daily Stand Up Meeting, Department Head Meeting and Operations Meeting. - They represent the hotel both internally and externally. - You conduct appraisal interviews for department heads (feedback, appraisal, criticism, career development and target agreement interviews) and work with the HR department to derive appropriate measures (e.g. training). - They implement the Westin standards and contribute to the further development of quality standards. - You develop creative F&B offers to increase sales. - You implement security concepts and carry out regular self-audits in the departments. - You will oversee staff scheduling in all operational areas to ensure excellent guest service and cost efficiency. - You will conduct interviews in cooperation with the HR department and ensure that employees receive comprehensive induction and training. - You have relevant operational expertise with many years of professional experience in a top international hotel. - You have completed training in the hotel industry or a degree in tourism/hotel management and have several years of practical experience in similar management roles in the hotel industry. - You are a passionate and quality-conscious host and combine an excellent guest experience with high employee satisfaction. - You are always proactive, results-orientated and take personal responsibility for your tasks. - You enjoy working in a team and encourage team spirit and creative solutions. - You have empathy, motivation and excellent communication skills. - You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English. Further foreign language skills are an advantage. - You are adept at using MS Office programmes and Opera. - Ideally, you have sound knowledge and experience of the Marriott environment and are familiar with the standards and processes. - You are familiar with the preparation of cost analyses and budgets.
