Assistant Designer – Color & Graphics (SMSU/Olympics)
Purpose:
1. Create convincing design concepts for the SMSU assets & events through colour and graphic stories.
2. Ensure proper product creation on the products offered by the Sports Marketing Service Unit through preparation of colour sketches, graphic designs and design packs
Key Responsibilities:
3. Modify designs of the international inline range considering adidas standards and technical feasibility (e.g. CI, color strategy) to meet internal and external customer needs
4. Create colour stories for SMSU ranges in accordance with global adidas design direction and customer specific needs
5. Create customer specific graphic designs and develop inline graphics further according to SMSU needs.
6. Manage own sports categories in regards to project planning and execution.
7. Prepare design packs and other handover documents according to SMSU specfications, ensuring technical accuracy
8. Support an efficient process ahnd communication flow between design, marketing and development for all issues regarding the ranges.
9. Collaborates with inline design, marketing and development teams regarding colour, graphics and placement ideas based on the customers needs, technical feasibility and brand objectives
10. Execute design work according to the visual language of adidas as well as given corporate identity guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
15. Knowledge of fashion designart and design with clear understanding of visual design concepts and an extraordinary sense for color, color combination, their application and color trends
16. Independent and self-responsible worker who pays high attention to detail and is able to multitask
17. Good overview of today’s sports products from all area
18. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
19. High level of creativity
20. Passion for design
21. Knowledge and use of Macintosh computer design softwear/ systems (Ilustrator, Photoshop, Clo)
22. Fluent in English (word and writing)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
23. Qualified to degree level in Design/Trend related studies, preferable in the area of fashion or graphic design
24. At least two years relevant work experience with work experience in a customer orientated design environment (through internships, work experiences or freelancing)
