THE ROLE & THE TEAM The Senior Manager, Diversity & Inclusion is responsible for operationalising Diversity, & Inclusion (DEI) workforce and advancing strategic efforts for employees across multiple business areas in Berlin and the broader European region. Reporting to the head of D&I Strategy & Governance, this role will be responsible for advancing efforts including but not limited to the D&I strategy tied to leadership and team business priorities. You’ll gain engagement and buy-in from leadership teams to ensure they sponsor initiatives and endorse the approach being taken as well as monitor the results of ongoing activity and their impact. You’ll act as a D&I expert in the central team which is to provide direction, guidance and insights to business unit queries and requests for support and advice. You’ll build roadmaps on key commitments. You’ll work collaboratively with the regional D&I Business units and communications teams to create innovative and engaging ways to bring the D&I strategy to life. You’ll follow up on the delivery of regional & functional D&I targets, and agree on actions, owners and timelines. You’ll lead activity on D&I benchmarking, accreditation and partnerships. You have experience of the delivery of DEI initiatives cross-functions/ across countries & regions. You bear contemporary skills and an understanding of the latest trends and developments in DEI. You demonstrated success in building relationships with all levels of management and staff within a global organisation. You have the ability to drive and deliver change in a matrix environment with different priorities. You pay attention to detail and have a solid understanding of business metrics paired with clear and transparent communication. You are convinced with your ability to negotiate and influence outcomes while dealing with ambiguity. You are able to work with data and translate data into insights to drive action.
