Spark Networks, a leading global dating company with a portfolio including JDate and Christian Mingle, is seeking a Delivery Manager focused on Customer Trust to drive collaboration, roadmap delivery, and feature implementation for key areas of Spark’s products. This role focuses on fraud prevention, user education, customer support, compliance, and marketing outcomes. The Delivery Manager will work closely with stakeholders on trust and safety mechanisms, admin tool integrations, CRM solutions, and localization and compliance readiness, all while accelerating engineering efforts to meet 2025 goals.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager on a contract basis to facilitate and ensure the smooth execution of a complete tech stack overhaul with a series of data migrations for several brands and other critical delivery activities.
As a Delivery Manager, you act as the bridge between product management, development, and operational execution. We are looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with technical expertise to ensure the smooth development and delivery of our software solutions.
We need a strategic, technically fluent leader who can align engineering, product, and operations while driving on-time, high-quality software delivery. If you thrive in high-stakes, high-load environments, this role is for you.
What you’ll do:
* Own End-to-End Delivery: Track and clearly communicate progress and risks. Ensure all teams are aligned on timelines, individual migration requirements, milestones, and responsibilities. Help coordinate activities such as testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
* Coordinate Data Migrations: Ensure smooth execution of data migrations by connecting product, engineering, DevOps, and other stakeholders. Ensure data integrity, rollback strategies, and security compliance.
* Support Product Releases: Facilitate the coordination of product launches, ensuring that all necessary activities—such as cutover plans, training, documentation, release communications, and post-release support—are organized and executed on time.
* Resolve Blockers and Issues: Identify, communicate, and eliminate obstacles in the development process.
* Optimize Product and Engineering Processes: Coordinate between product managers, developers, designers, data scientists, QA, and stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery. Work with senior/lead engineers to balance product velocity and technical debt trade-offs. Monitor and continuously optimize development and deployment processes.
Your Background
* Several years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or in a similar role.
* Experience creating delivery roadmaps, migration frameworks, and execution playbooks to drive efficient software rollouts.
* Deep technical understanding of software development, architecture, and agile methodologies.
* Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on efficient execution.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to bring teams together, drive alignment, and ensure efficient delivery within an agile framework.
* Progress Tracking and Reporting: Ability to track and report progress against timelines, providing clear status updates to stakeholders and ensuring transparency across teams.
* Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify risks, resolve blockers, and adjust strategies to keep projects on track.
* Strong skills in project management, agile processes, and software delivery.
