Playing a crucial role in global decarbonization, HRT is undergoing a holistic business transformation focused on process harmonization and data excellence. We are now seeking a skilled Master Data Manager & Business Tools (f/m/d) to establish and optimize our data strategy, data governance, and supporting business processes across cross-functional projects. Join our international and diverse team in Berlin, Düsseldorf, or 's-Hertogenbosch. Responsibilities: Scope: Your responsibility will encompass selected HRT division master data domains, with a strong focus on material and product master data. Processes: You will develop, document, and optimize processes to ensure data quality, data governance, and operational excellence for the HRT division. Alignment: Collaboration with the GEA Global Data Governance Organisation will be key to align master data frameworks and policies with HRT divisional business requirements. Proactive Monitoring: Monitoring the performance of data management processes and tools, resolving master data quality issues, and implementing process improvements as needed for the HRT division will be part of your role. Collaboration (Divisions): Collaboration with other divisions and cross-functional teams will be necessary to align master data domains’ roadmaps with business needs and priorities. Enable Compliance to Policies: Together with the data steward community and business stakeholders, you will enable compliance with the global master data governance policies and guidelines. Project Involvement: As a master data expert, you will collaborate on various projects, for example, S/4HANA and other business tools. Data Community Building: You will develop a data community of data stewards and business stakeholders across business units and countries. Oversight: You will oversee project timelines and ensure the successful delivery of data-related projects. Team Culture: Fostering a positive team culture focused on communication, continuous improvement, and high-quality output will be an important aspect of your contribution. Your Profile / Qualifications Professional History: You possess solid 5 years’ practical experience in a master data management or master data governance position, complemented by a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field. Expertise: Your expertise should include a strong affinity and experience with master data governance, master data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA, DGI, DCAM), data quality, and data management principles and processes. SAP Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP MDG modules for master data governance and management is expected. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to align business and data requirements with different stakeholders across the organization are essential. Business Acumen: You should have a strong methodological and technical understanding of how data can improve business outcomes. Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines are necessary for this role. Counseling: The ability to guide and lead senior management stakeholders on data expertise and best practices, fostering a data-driven culture, is required.
