Job Description Reporting to the Feature Owner of IT Hosting Operation Model and Experience (ITHOME), a feature of the Data Center Services Product, the DCS Relationship Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for building and maintaining relations and driving alignment between Data Center Services, Facilities, and IT Infrastructure teams supporting Data Centers and Local Computer Rooms at sites assigned to the Hosting Relationship Manager (m/f/d). The Hosting Relationship Manager (m/f/d) will be focused on developing a comprehensive view of his/her portfolio’s critical facilities, related capabilities, capacities, and compliance status and aligning maintenance, operations, project delivery, and portfolio planning activities. This person will closely collaborate with global and local Facilities teams, Divisional IT teams, and Global Compute, Storage, and Network teams across the three IT Hubs located in Prague, Czech Republic, Austin, TX, and Singapore. This is a full-time, permanent and hybrid role. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Integrate with site and global teams to act as single point of contact for any activity which has a Local Computer Room resource demand component Drive the implementation and management of a governance and operations and related reporting capabilities Perform site assessments to ensure accurate and updated information is readily available for strategy and planning development Develop and track strategic action plans addressing hosting at each portfolio site that aligns with strategic business objectives Work closely with various engineering and projects delivery teams to ensure smooth running of programs Develop processes and tools which enable visibility, alignment, and coordination of planned activities and available maintenance windows Present site health and compliance status at executive stakeholder meetings Manage processes to onboard and offboard sites to the program as our company portfolio changes over time Collaborate with Facilities and Data Center Engineering teams to develop various proposals related to Local Computer Rooms Maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers ensuring effective, high-quality delivery and appropriate cost management Be a backup Relationship Manager for sites assigned as Secondary responsibilities Education Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, management information systems, engineering or related discipline Data Center Certifications such as CDCDP, DCDC, or equivalent is desirable Industry technical certifications in EMC, Cisco or VMware are desirable PMP and ITIL Certifications or equivalent are desirable Skills & Experience: 5 years data center and colocation solution delivery supporting 24/7/365 mission critical services Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Strong team member Prior experience with and understanding of large enterprise critical facility data center design Understanding of structured cabling systems, network and connectivity standards and hardware installation Ability to adapt to changing technology environments Understanding of ITIL processes, compliance and quality programs, audits and physical security Ability to manage large scale projects and develop and improve processes Ability to develop relationships with people in diverse global geographies. This includes company employees, external partners and vendors Experience leading cross functional teams Ability to resolve problems in high stress, high visibility situations Strong business understanding and negotiation skills with the ability to make rapid disciplined decisions from both a business and technology perspective Good understanding of cyber-security principles Our Support Functions deliver services and make recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the culture of our organization.
