For our headquarter office based in Dudelange, we are currently looking for a Scheduler & Raw Material purchaser. Primary function: Under the supervision of the Planning & ForecastingSupervisor, the Scheduler & Raw Material purchaser is responsible for managing the productions schedule of the plant. Duties and Responsibilities: Participates in the daily manufacturing/Supply Chain meeting to review loading of the lines based on last 24 hours performance and customer need/priorities; Ensures daily update of all production lines; makes sure that all requested changes have been implemented; Responds to Management and CSR requests and requirements. Contacts suppliers to place, confirm, cancel or postpone the raw material needs; Makes recommendations and informs concerned people/department adequately whenever there is a (potential) issue (raw material availability, issues linked to delivery dates of sales orders, etc.) Works with Supply Chain Management for any needed development and desired improvement. Verifies/increase/manage/anticipate production requests; Makes sure to have the right product in the right packaging at the right time on the right line Prepares and sends monthly reports to the Management with Schedule / Suppliers activities; Analyzes raw material needs; This position can require travels to other European sites. Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Commerce or equivalent domain; 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role; Excellent knowledge of Supply Chain businesses and processes; Fluent in English and French, another language is an asset; Customer oriented; Ability to work under pressure; Ability to communicate easily and report potential issues in time; Good organizational skills; Knowledge of an ERP (ideally JDE); Ampacet is an Equal Emp
