You will manage applications within the European energy market to guarantee service quality and resilience towards internal and external customers.
Your work will directly influence the European power market, a growing and highly regulated market seeking further innovation.

We seek an experienced Linux Administrator to operate our applications in a modern OpenShift Environment built on RedHat operating systems.
You will be responsible for orderly application operation, definition of functional release requirements, and part of the release testing.
You will contribute to stable operation, share knowledge, and support each other in on-call duties within a diverse team.
Continuous improvement of applications and processes, as well as increasing operational effectiveness by applying IT know-how, are part of your tasks.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage applications within the European energy market to guarantee service quality and resilience
* Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for automation, quality, and high availability
* Operate our applications in a modern OpenShift Environment built on RedHat operating systems
* Define functional release requirements and participate in release testing
* Share knowledge and support each other in on-call duties within a diverse team
* Improve applications and processes continuously, while increasing operational effectiveness
Requirements
* Good knowledge of Linux operating systems like Debian and RedHat
* Experience in maintaining applications in a Kubernetes/OpenShift environment
* Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible
* Knowledge of ITIL Framework and DevOps principles
* Experience in testing strategies and processes, including requirements' tracking, test analysis, and quality assurance
* Data base management know-how of MySQL or Postgres
* Desirable: Knowledge of messaging solutions (AMQP and Kafka), SQL and NoSQL databases, energy market-specific communication standards, and certificate management
