YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* You ensure the consistency in the application of technical and operational standards at the site and coordinate these (e.g., cross-departmental harmonization of techniques and working methods for maintenance in laboratories, greenhouses, energy, and infrastructure)
* You plan, implement, and monitor investment measures and participate in the planning and execution of larger investments
* You ensure compliance with local technical and legal regulations as well as the company's guidelines in the field of process control technology
* You identify, evaluate, and carry out process control technology modifications, resolve issues related to process control technology in the facility (e.g., process control devices, installation technology), and initiate improvements to minimize failures
* You create and maintain the necessary technical documentation in the area of process control technology
* You are proficient in using the building management system Siemens Desigo CC as well as the automation system ABB Freelance
* You have knowledge in the area of controls (Siemens S7) and safety controls (Hima)
* Additionally, you coordinate internal and external service providers and actively participate in regional and global expert groups at Bayer
WHAT YOU ARE
* You have a completed degree in measurement, control, and automation technology or a related field of electrical engineering
* You bring several years of combined professional experience as a project engineer in planning and project execution as well as operational engineering
* You have experience with project and/or maintenance tasks
* Furthermore, you are familiar with best practices and standards in process control technology as well as internal and external technical regulations and legal requirements
* You possess good knowledge of engineering tools and software along with strong technical competence
* Your communication skills are well-developed, and you enjoy working in a team
* You impress with your communication style and have a good understanding of technical and commercial business processes as well as negotiation skills
* Proficient German language skills, both spoken and written, along with very good English language skills complete your profile
