Job Title: IT Support Engineer (m/w/d)
Location: Viernheim,Hessen, Germany
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Act as a single point of contact for IT-related issues and requests.
* Provide support for LIS (Laboratory Information System).
* Cover first line IT support services including incident and request management.
* Troubleshoot and resolve common technical problems.
* Escalate complex issues to the IT Operations Team and related platforms.
* Maintain accurate records of all incidents and requests using the IT service management system.
* Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software.
* Provide user training and support to ensure efficient use of IT systems.
* Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure a high level of service delivery.
* Monitor IT systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
* Participate in IT projects as required.
* Local engagement on IT relevant requests
Experience & Skillset required:
* Experience in a similar IT support role.
* Certifications in ITIL.
* Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
* Experience with supporting a Laboratory or healthcare environment would be beneficial.
* Proficiency in German and English; French is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
* Experience with IT support and incident management.
* Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
* Familiarity with common IT systems and software (e.g., Windows OS, MS Office, networking fundamentals).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
* Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Travel to Antech sites for onsite support activities
