To ensure that we are able to continue the successful development in the future and to teach robotics and STEM courses as well as to establish a competitive robotics program at our school, we are looking for a qualified and passionate Robotics and Coding Teacher (m/w/d) Full-time
Your responsibilities and duties:
* Teaching introductory courses in Robotics
* Guiding students through the process of designing, building, and programming robots
* Teaching students using the provided lesson plan for robotics/coding
* Providing technical support for robotics and coding equipment
* Staying updated on the latest trends and developments in the field of robotics and coding
* Mentoring students in robotics clubs or teams, providing guidance on projects and competitions
* As this is a developing program, until the program is fully developed, the person in this position may be asked to do other tasks in the school. These could include substitution (coverage) for absent teachers, leading clubs/activities, proctoring exams, student supervision on campus, etc.
Recommended Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree in education, engineering, computer science, robotics, or a related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field
* 1+ years of teaching experience in robotics or related subject or experience coaching in a robotics team environment
* Programming Languages: Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in robotics, such as Python, Java, C++, or block-based coding platforms like Scratch.
* Robotics Platforms: Experience with robotics kits and platforms like LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Robotics, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi.
* CAD and Design Tools: Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
* Native English speaker or native English fluency is required
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work within a team
