Senior Manager Climate and Decarbonization (f/m/d)

The following tasks are waiting for you:
* Design and lead decarbonization projects aimed at reducing the organization’s carbon footprint across all operational areas, in line with Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and Germany’s 2045 climate neutrality targets
* Evaluate and monitor carbon offset initiatives and renewable energy projects to support long-term emission reductions
* Lead climate risk assessments, scenario modelling and identify opportunities to lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across operations, supply chains, and product life cycles
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate climate initiatives, ensuring compliance with the German and EU climate requirements
* Monitor and report on carbon reduction progress, preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies
* Drive internal awareness and training programs on sustainability practices, climate risks, and carbon management
Your Qualifications and Skills:
* Completed studies with focus on Controlling or Management or a comparable education
* Plenty years of experience in sustainability, climate strategy, or decarbonization with a deep understanding of German and EU climate frameworks
* Proven track record in developing and executing carbon reduction strategies, preferably in manufacturing and food and beverage sectors
* Experience in carbon accounting and life cycle assessments
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable climate solutions and sustainability plans
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to work across different departments and manage multiple stakeholders
* Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required, as the role involves regular communication with local and international stakeholders. Knowledge of German is an advantage
