We are looking for a Commercial Compliance Manager to join our fast-growing team. Robust and effective compliance management is vital in ensuring the proper use of our software by all customers. It is also an important contributor to revenue and margin optimisation. In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring compliance with our software licence terms across our global customer base.
You will join a supportive, effective, and mission-oriented team in a flexible, friendly and international work environment, and have a great deal of autonomy in your role.
One Click LCA’s innovative carbon accounting and reduction SaaS platform is used in over 170 countries and is growing rapidly. We target construction (where we are the global leader) and manufacturing verticals, responsible for nearly half of global carbon emissions.
This is a full-time, permanent and remote position is open to candidates based in UK&I / Europe / India.
What you will do:
* Design, manage, implement and improve processes and procedures for managing and understanding software license compliance
* Use the data at your disposal to identify instances of non-compliance with our software licensing terms, this includes building your own reporting and developing insights
* Enforce compliance using our compliance processes, making decisions on the best course of action based on the circumstances and context
* Own and exceed measurable targets for compliance management and the revenue generation it drives
* Create and deliver reporting to colleagues and management to communicate progress against agreed targets
* Work closely with our technical specialists and commercial teams to make judgements on each compliance case, identify the right course of action and ensure it is actioned
* Advise management on improvements to pricing, packaging or our terms to help drive improved compliance, revenue and margin
* Liaise with legal counsel to ensure compliance cases are enforced legally when appropriate and necessary
* Act as a point of expertise within the company on all things compliance-related
* Help One Click LCA to implement industry best practices around software licence compliance
What you need:
* Demonstrated experience in the field of software compliance for a SaaS company
* Experience in designing, implementing and managing compliance enforcement processes
* You have the skill set to work effectively with legal professionals
* The ability to communicate effectively with C- and VP-level decision-makers to drive beneficial outcomes for One Click LCA and our customers
* You are happy working with data and conducting analysis yourself to identify, understand and quantify misuse cases
* Ability to work well with Customer Success, Account Management and Business Development professionals to ensure well-structured customer experiences
