We are seeking a committed Financial Controller (m/f/d) for our esteemed client in the nonwoven industry to strengthen the team as soon as possible.
In this responsible position, you will be primarily responsible for the preparation and analysis of information, as well as for deriving strategic recommendations for action.
Job description:
* Information Provision and Preparation: Collection, analysis, and preparation of relevant data and KPIs to support corporate decision-making.
* Deriving Recommendations for Action: Development of strategic recommendations based on the analysed data to optimise processes and structures.
* Process Adjustments: Adjustment and implementation of existing structures, processes, and reports for project controlling.
* Calculations: Restructuring and implementation of pre- and post-calculations for customer orders to ensure profitability.
* Reporting: Design and creation of reports, including implementation in Power BI for data visualisation.
* Participation in Period End Closures: Support in conducting period-end closures, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
* Ad-hoc Analyses: Conducting special analyses and reports to answer specific questions from management.
* Controlling Development: Active involvement in the management and further development of controlling, including ensuring the quality and efficiency of work processes.
Requirements Profile:
* Education: Completed degree (minimum Bachelor) in Business Administration, Finance, or a similar field.
* Professional Experience: Several years of professional experience in controlling or accounting within an industrial company, ideally with a focus on cost and financial controlling.
* Controlling Structures: Proven experience in the establishment and optimisation of controlling structures and processes.
* IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications (particularly Excel) and experience with an ERP system (e.g., PSI/Penta) is an advantage.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities to identify areas for improvement and derive actionable measures.
* Independence: Independent and structured working style with a high level of initiative and commitment.
* Teamwork: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
* Language Skills: Proficient in German (minimum C1) and English (minimum B2).
