About the role:
Deliver HR services in compliance with local regulations and according to HR and business needs:
* Deliver local HR Services that require proximity to employees and managers that is advisory in nature and that strategically integrate effective HR processes, programs and practices into their daily operations taking local law into consideration; Liaise and work closely with managers and employees to understand the business issues and needs, and provide added value HR contribution, guidance and advice, act as a partner and trusted advisor towards the business
* Implement and support actions associated with and/or directed by Global HR or business projects, program, and policies
* Respond to any internal or external HR audit, survey or reports (e.g. Health & Safety audit, ISO certification)
* Local customization of Corporate or local programs / policies / projects as necessary, articulating implications and assisting with interpretation pertaining to related government laws and regulations through effective communications
* Overseeing the successful management of reward and benefits, including but not limited to In and Out of cycle budgets and awards, providing salary benchmarks and employment compensation packages appropriate to internal and external market forces, local employee benefit plans, bonus payments
* Providing supplemental support to local hiring, including interviewing candidates
* Implement and ensure appropriate communication of HR programs and initiatives to employees, management and local committees
* Facilitation of local induction programs including specific communications and support for new joiners
* Interact with the Works Councils
* Be an active member of the health management team
* Support any kind of negotiations with Unions or Works Councils
* Coordinating the working student program, responsible for internships
* Support local CSR activities
About you:
* Robust HR background
* Proven ability to provide expert advice and guidance to clients and help solve their HR challenges.
* Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience within an HR department, ideally in the IT or telecommunication sector of an international matrix organization
* Used to work with diverse cultures and to work in a virtual matrix team environment.
* Sound knowledge of MS office, especially excel
* Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and German language (ideally German native speaker)
* Be a flexible and proactive team player who can thrive in agile, fast-paced changing working environments.
