We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager specializing in Cloud and Data Centre Management to join our team. As the Expert in IT Service Management (Cloud & Data Center) (m/f/d), you will own, implement and manage solutions that continuously improve, optimize, automate, secure and govern the cloud and data centre domain.The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a natural curiosity for solving complex problems, and exceptional collaborative skills. You will work closely with IT, Security, Procurement and various business teams. Specifically, you will be responsible for cost management, budgeting, SLA compliance, operational performance and overseeing related ITIL processes.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
* Represents the technical delivery of Cloud & Data Center services across the organization
* Ensures that each service is delivered according to the service attributes such as performance, availability, security, etc.
* Oversee the deployment of cloud services and applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
* Drive initiatives to automate repetitive tasks and streamline cloud and on-prem datacenter operations
* Manages the risk of operating the service Cloud & remaining on-prem Data Centers
* Manages the cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and performance or cost optimization efforts
* Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
* Implement performance-tuning strategies to enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of cloud-based and on-prem systems
* Manages vendor relations and delivery / lifecycle of services for strategic business development
Show your expertise
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
* Proven experience with service management of Cloud & Data Center services, Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Microsoft Azure, data center management and Windows Server operations
* Good knowledge of standard IT Operations frameworks (e.g., ITIL certification required)
* Experience in IT financial management and service management in retained organizations
* Experience in managing complex IT services in heterogeneous, large, and distributed environments (10,000+ users)
* Proven track record of managing enterprise grade cloud landing zones, preferably Microsoft Azure.
* Very good experience in management external, Asian culture based service providers.Ability to manage 360-degree IT services
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as vendor management skills
* Fluent in English and German both written and oral
