Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Develop customer centric, outside-in mid-tier product portfolio strategy, define features and value propositions based on market needs, develop global market insights and competitive analysis for mid tier product development.
2. Identify potential business opportunities and build business cases for the mid tier product portfolio globally with close interaction with Product Owners, sales drivers and regionals sales organization, also drive cross-division/cross BU collaborations.
3. Develop product expertise to leverage knowledge and capabilities to develop product support materials for key industries and regions
4. Clearly communicate and translate market inputs to product requirements; Bring expertise and recommendations to Product Owner and project team to define specs and priorities.
5. Support Voice of Customer to the organization through effective communication on topics such as market needs/trends/innovations, future technologies, technical specifications/requirements, product changes, portfolio gaps, performance metrics, and other relevant topics.
6. Anticipate market dynamics & applications to enable specific industry product solutions. Lead new industries /new markets development.
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills:
7. Bachelor’s degree in electric/electronics or business management
8. 5-10 years working experience in product application or product management team, preferably over 5 years of drives industry experience for mid tier market
9. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
10. Fluent in English
11. People management skill is a plus
Job Criteria
12. Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and productivity skills. Self-drive, precise, and detail-oriented. Ability to continually prioritize multiple projects.
13. Solid application understanding of drives systems
14. Solid understanding of the Industrial market/platforms we serve.
