Hybrid role based in Freiburg, Germany: 3 office days/ 2 homeworking days
Reporting Line: Business Development Manager DACH
The role:
As the Sales Administrator for the DACH region, you will be part of a high performing sales team, and report to the Business Development Manager for the region.
You will play a pivotal role as the main point of contact for all Dealers in the region for the sales department. Your understanding of the order processing system will be exemplary so that you are able to train both Dealers and staff in getting the best out of our eco system. You will develop and manage manual order systems for situations when required (e.g new motorcycle models). You will be the main point of liaison for all credit enquiries and inter dealer transfers, along with co-ordinating warehousing and logistics, and allocate dealer first supply for new models.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will be involved with all aspects of motorcycle, accessories and apparel sales administration, including vehicle registration, collecting and reconciling payments and assisting in the activation of customer finance agreements with our finance team.
* Dealer liaison will play a large part in this role ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our dealers from start to finish, whilst ensuring all vehicles are progressed through from order to delivery correctly, efficiently and updating our systems accordingly.
* Excellent communication, numeracy and computer skills to include Microsoft Office/Google Workspace together with an organised, efficient and proactive approach with attention to detail are essential. The ability to use initiative and to work in a focused team environment and independently, dedicated to excellent Customer/Dealer Service.
* Our customer base (dealership network) is very loyal, so a passion for delivering customer service with a view to future business is vital.
* Develop and maintain a system for the dealer network to become the main contact point on all order enquiries, providing prompt, accurate and timely responses.
Key tasks include, but are not limited to:
* Receive and process all manual sales orders
* Oversee the sales ordering system
* Handle all credit queries and liaise with wholesale finance provider
* Training of staff and new dealers in the sales ordering systems for: manual order processing / modification based on backorders / credit held
* Keep track of dealer status (multi brand/exclusive, dealer classification), keep dealer locator up to date,
* Support the Sales Planning Analyst in reconciling bonus payments
* Liaise with internal stakeholders from the central EMEA team
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with partners/ dealers
Qualifications & Experience:
* Able to speak fluent German and English
* Previous experience of Vehicle Sales Administration would be advantageous, however as long as you are able to demonstrate previous experience in a busy administration role, training can be provided.
* An ability to work to a high standard, particularly a high attention to detail to ensure all paperwork is submitted securely and accurately
* Working independently or as a team, you will have the ability to engage with key stakeholders and customers to encourage a smooth and efficient service.
* A motorcycle licence is advantageous
* Excellent computer skills
