We are looking for a skilled worker in line construction (m/f/d) in the Hesse region: Kassel, Gießen, Fulda, Hanau
Your contribution to TenneT
We need active support for our line service group. Due to the activities on our overhead lines, you will mainly be working outdoors and will be able to prove yourself time and again in a challenging area of responsibility.
You will be responsible for inspections as well as maintenance and repair work on the high and extra-high voltage grid within the service region
You will carry out work on the pylon, e.g. changing cables or chains
You will be responsible for instructing, coordinating and carrying out quality assurance for work carried out by external companies
To ensure an uninterrupted energy supply, you will also regularly be on call in the service region of Hesse and northwest Bavaria
You coordinate the activities and work processes with other departments
Your profile
You have successfully completed vocational training in a technical profession, preferably electronics technician (m/f/d) for industrial engineering, mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or metalworker (m/f/d) or have a comparable qualification
Ideally, you already have experience of working outdoors, on the ground and/or at height. You are also fit for working at heights and willing to undergo the G41
Knowledge of high-voltage cables is desirable. However, we are also happy to train motivated career changers!
Good written and spoken German is required for the position
You are willing to take on alternating external activities and have a class B driving license (ideally also class C) to be able to reach the construction sites
Your place of residence is in the service group area described above or you are willing to relocate there
A high degree of team spirit, flexibility, independence and work safety awareness round off your profile

Grid Field Operations is responsible for carrying out field operations, maintenance work and (baseload) projects. We ensure the integrity and safety of the installations entrusted to us, while guaranteeing their maximum availability. We ensure that TenneT’s onshore grids in Germany and the Netherlands are reliable.

At the earliest possible date for the Hesse region: Kassel, Gießen, Fulda, Hanau
The position is open-ended. It will be carried out on a rotational basis (start and end of work from home). A vehicle for business use will be provided
