Brand Sales Manager (m/f/d) – part time or full time
starting in Berlin as soon as possible.
Tasks
As our Brand Sales Manager you will be responsible for finding brand partnerships and sponsoring deals for our content and productions. In close cooperation with your future colleagues from development and content management, you will start this department from scratch for Quintus. That way you will build up and manage an additional source of financing opportunities for our production and content financing activities.
Our ideal candidate is absolutely passionate about documentaries and digital unscripted content, a people lover and has a proven track record in executing brand partnership deals from research a matching brand to deal closing. The position is not about selling programmatic ads, rather we are looking for a person who is keen to find creative ways to combine content & brands in a mutual beneficial way. He/She has worked in influencer marketing and/or ad funded programming before and already has an existing network in the relevant industry.
Day-to-day tasks will be:
* You analyse brand-relevant KPIs from the Quintus content eco-system and turn them into nice pitch presentations.
* You research potential brand partners globally and/or specifically in our core markets (mainly North America and Germany/Europe), approach them and convince them to do business with us.
* You build up an manage a growing network of one-time and returning brand partners we cooperate with.
* You execute the full process from first offer and negotiating to deal closing.
* Once a partnership is signed, you coordinate the relevant necessary steps with your colleagues and manage the brand during the cooperation process.
* You support the content management team to come up with content strategies which are both, editorially compelling and a potential fit for selected brand partners.
Requirements
We are looking for people who are fascinated by what they do and who are enthusiastic to use their dedication and skills to move Quintus as a company forward. Moreover we are looking for the following skills and qualifications:
Experience
* 2-3 years of experience (as an executive) in the world of brand partnerships, sponsoring, ad-funded programming or similar fields
* Knowledge about relevant KPIs for brands and how to successfully approach, convince and negotiate a potential brand-partner
* A network of contacts and relationships to potential brand partners. Existing contacts in the relevant community in the US would be a great asset
Skills
* Fluent in German and English, written and verbal
* General strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal teams and external partners
* Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills
* Analytical and creative mindset with the ability to assess market trends, spot windows of opportunity and draw actionable conclusions
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
