Job Title : Senior Director of High PowerLocation: Ense, Germany Power Integrations, Inc. is a Silicon Valley-based supplier of high-performance electronic components used in high-voltage power-conversion systems. Our integrated circuits and diodes enable compact, energy-efficient AC-DC power supplies for a wide range of electronic products, including mobile devices, TVs, PCs, appliances, and LED lights. Our SCALE IGBT drivers enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost in high-power applications such as industrial motor drives, solar and wind energy systems, electric vehicles, and high-voltage DC transmission. For our High Power Industrial sector, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Director of High Power. Responsibilities - Define and drive business and product strategies for High Power Industrial operations, encompassing market identification, product specifications, development, and after-sales support. - Lead cross-functional teams, including Marketing, System Engineering, and Product Development, to deliver strategic goals and align with company objectives. - Take ownership of gross margin optimization, pricing strategies, and development of compelling business cases. - Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for industrial high-power products, ensuring alignment with the organization's vision and long-term goals. - Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with module makers, distributors, and key customers to strengthen market presence and enhance sales opportunities. - Lead business development initiatives to expand into both existing and new customer segments, leveraging legacy and innovative new products. - Oversee and contribute to after-sales support activities, ensuring customer satisfaction and sustained business relationships. - Develop and oversee the five-year strategic plan to align with and support overall company objectives. - Manage resources, budgets, and personnel to ensure the optimal performance of all assigned teams and projects. Education and Experience - Educational Background: - Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, providing a strong foundation in technical expertise. - Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering and/or an MBA to enhance managerial and strategic capabilities. - Professional Experience: - Minimum of 15 years of experience in the semiconductors industry, demonstrating a proven track record in: - Leading and managing multi-functional teams across engineering, business, and operations. - Collaborating effectively with Operations, Quality, and Project Management teams. - Driving organizational goals through a blend of technical and business expertise.
