About the opportunity
The Deputy Head of Business Technology Health Services serves as the deputy to the Head of Business Technology, supporting the management, coordination, and execution of a complex program of technology initiatives in alignment with Mercy Health's digital and business strategies. This is a hands-on role that requires direct involvement in project oversight and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing a portfolio of interconnected technology projects.
* Supervising and mentoring multidisciplinary project resources.
* Assisting with strategic planning.
* Managing key stakeholder relationships.
* Ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of digital solutions.
This role will primarily be based at Mercy Health's Health Services facilities in Victoria (Mercy Hospital for Women and Werribee Mercy Hospital) and will require travel between Mercy Health facilities within Victoria and NSW.

* Practical and demonstrable experience in a hospital or acute health network environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and lead multidisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
* Comprehensive knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, adept at building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, business units, and technology partners.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining:
* A current Police Record Check.
* Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
