We are on the lookout for a Senior Specialist, Employee Relations to join the People & Culture Team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

You will work in close partnership with our People and Business teams in Berlin to support Employment Law matters and establish a collaborative relationship with our works council. You will have the unique opportunity to build a strong working relationship with our works council while it is still in its early stages with the support of your Employee Relations and Employment Law colleagues.
* Deliver a consistent and professional service in areas including disciplinary, grievance, probation, performance, long-term sick leave, etc. ensuring all such matters are dealt with in line with policy, best practice, and legislative requirements to mitigate risk.
* Provide sound, expert ER advice and guidance to People Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders on reorganization and restructuring activity in line with local employment practices and employment law.
* Curate and deliver relevant training and education to improve HRBP and leader effectiveness and drive better ER decisions.
* Build partnerships with business leaders and our People Partner team (HRBPs) to sustain positive employee relations practices.
* You foster strong working relationships with our Employment Law team, compliance, and investigations teams to balance risk and calibrate recommendations for decision-making.
* You will prepare information and consultation of works councils to advise on business decisions as well as participate in negotiations with works council in committee proceedings
Qualifications
* You gained at least 5+ years of professional experience within HR or Employment Law
* You are fluent in English and German
* You have a track record of working from election to implementation of works councils and managing works councils in highly demanding environments
* You are a progressive, hands-on, and customer-obsessed person with the credibility and gravitas to succeed in a fast-moving and customer-focused high-tech environment.
* You bring excellent stakeholder management skills with an ability to connect at all levels of an organization and foster positive collaborative environments and relationships.
* You are a strong communicator with the ability to express and “translate” legal-related (and complex) topics into a clear, concise and business-relevant language
