Responsibilities
1. Actively shape EEM's long-term strategy roadmap and transformation jointly with the EEM Strategy, Transformation & Change leadership team, with a strong focus on data-driven strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency of EEM.
2. Lead strategic initiatives focused on data-driven decision-making, use cases and new capabilities, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
3. Stay up-to-date with trading industry trends and advances in data analytics and develop continuous improvement and innovation.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new business opportunities based on data analysis and market insights.
5. Present findings and recommendations to the EEM Executive Board and further senior management and stakeholders, effectively communicating the value of data-driven initiatives.
6. Be an integral part of a multidisciplinary, high-performing and highly creative team, passionate about markets and the energy transition.
Qualifications
7. University degree in business, economics, data science / IT or a related field.
8. Several years of experience, ideally in the energy trading or digital technology environment.
9. Ability to identify new digital and data-driven use cases.
10. Proven experience in leading new data-driven business initiatives, strong project management skills.
11. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex data sets, proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
12. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
13. Excellent English language skills, spoken and written; fluency in German or other languages is a plus.
14. Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, loving to think outside the box. You enjoy answering unanswered questions on a daily basis- and asking questions that no one has dared to ask before.
