Your new job includes
As a Category Experience Manager (m/f/d) Beauty, you will accompany the development of a category-specific assortment strategy with the goal of staging a spectacular assortment and unforgettable experiences on the sales floor. You will develop and manage the category-specific assortment and promotional concepts together with the team.
In particular, you will
* prepare customer and trend analyses to identify potentials in existing and new categories at the market and brand level
* support the management of complex and cross-functional projects in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, e.g., in the context of tenders/pitches
* ensure knowledge transfer across all sales areas, locations, and subsidiaries to enable a unified category perspective
* monitor the results of the concepts and projects and build extensive category expertise, including through exchange with the industry and trend research
* accompany the implementation of test & learn field trials for concepts and brands
Preferred Profile
* Completed degree in business administration or comparable qualifications
* At least 2 years of project or category management experience in retail, ideally in an international environment
* Initial knowledge of the beauty category (perfume, cosmetics, etc.), but at least a strong interest in working with it
* Initial experience in managing different interfaces and cross-functional collaboration.
* Analytical thinking skills
* Proficient in using ERP systems
* Fluent in English and German, additional foreign language skills are a plus
