The company is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst (m/f/d) in Münster to strengthen the international Finance team. What will be your key responsibilities: Overseeing global financial operations including planning, forecasting, asset management, and ad-hoc analyses as needed Analyzing financial results to recommend cost reduction and profit improvement strategies. Managing the accuracy and timeliness of strategic planning processes, identifying key issues, goals, risks, and opportunities. Providing financial analysis for capital expenditures, sales trends, competitive analysis, and product line performance. Executing BI and sales controlling activities, with a focus on collaborating with product managers. Reviewing financial statements and explaining variances to management. Delivering detailed analyses of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts to support decision-making. Analyzing global P&L statements and balance sheets, with accompanying analytical charts. Collaborating with global teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure bottom-line improvements. Evaluating investment opportunities using financial analysis techniques, ensuring healthy returns while managing risks. Consolidating and ensuring data integrity across all global units. Developing and improving reporting processes for effective data analysis across global units. Managing FP&A policies to support growth, efficiency, and reduce complexity. What experience should you have: Language : Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and good German skills. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CA/CPA/CMA preferred. Experience : Several years in finance and accounting, with exposure to manufacturing operations. Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong financial analysis, controlling, and data modeling skills. - Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) and Excel. - Ability to work in a matrix organization and present information effectively. - Experience in managing complex financial data and developing solutions.
