Provides leadership to all functional and service groups to meet customer requirements. Drives performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals. Leverages resources and motivates personnel to create high performance culture.Manages and directs all operations activities to ensure completion of customer requirements.Leadership of the customs and export teamResponsible as Managing Director of the Eaton Germany GmbH for the German Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA)Provides for prudent investment into training and development, capital equipment and technology development to assure organizational, manufacturing, product and market leadershipAssures policies, procedures, and other documentation are established to provide for consistent and professional operation of all organizational functionsLeads product design organization through new product introduction phase to ensure customer product development and manufacturing delivery times are metAssures that Environmental, Health, and Safety issues are addressed considering local regulations, Eaton policy, and good corporate citizenshipDevelops and maintains innovative and effective cost reduction programs throughout operationsEvaluates operational performance of the team in order to facilitate performance management, merit promotions, job transfers, dismissals, commendations, etc.Develops budgets and resource plans, and monitors performance, to achieve product delivery and financial requirementsQualifications:Bachelors degree in engineering, additional MBA preferred.Multiple years of related professional and Supervisory/Managerial experienceEU citizenship and belonging to NATO country is requiredKnowledge of EU German and US export control lawAbility to direct and lead cross functional process improvement teams.Through knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logicDetailed Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receivingStrong leadership, motivational and interpersonal skillsFlue
