We are looking for a full-time lab-based Associate Scientist or Technician Mass Spectrometry To support our Mass Spectrometry team based in our ISO9001:2015 certified facility in Frankfurt am Main. As an Associate Scientist or Technician in the Mass Spectrometry Team, you will be involved in all client proteomics projects conducted in our laboratories, as well as in internal research and development efforts. You will be part of a highly collaborative team of scientists and contribute to our mission of bringing high quality proteomics analyses to an ever-growing international client base. We strive to operate at the forefront of technology and routinely incorporate new technologies into our constantly expanding portfolio of services. Daily operation, quality control and troubleshooting of mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography equipment in collaboration with other members of the MS team. Contributing to the development and implementation of LC-MS methods for discovery and targeted proteomics studies. Implementation of requirements and procedures in accordance with ISO9001:2015 and GCLP. Reviewing and creating new SOPs for the MS laboratory. Keeping lab records and management of lab stocks and purchasing. BTA, CTA, MTA, M.Sc. / B.Sc. or comparable qualification with 2 -3 years of experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry. Hands-on experience and keen interest in operating and maintaining HPLC or LC-MS equipment are essential. Attention to detail and adherence to procedures. Good time management and prioritization skills, willingness to work in a team. Ability to communicate in written and spoken English and German. High level of computer literacy (Windows, Microsoft Office). Experience with lab automation or experience with scripting languages (Python, R) is a plus. Practical experience with proteomics is a plus. Experience working in a regulated environment (GLP, GMP) is an advantage.
