To strengthen our team in the area of SRA, we are looking for a Material Complinace Manager - Regulatory Affairs (m/f/d) in permanent employment.
Your job mission:
The SRA Material Assessment Manager provides technical guidance to support SRA's responsibility of ensuring that ingredients and materials used to manufacture JTI products are in compliance with JTI internal guidelines and with all applicable local market regulations. The incumbent works under the direction of the SRA Material Assessment Agile Team Director and closely co-operates with the SRA CP and SRA RRP teams as well as with JTI R&D. Furthermore, the Manager supports other projects in the Material Assessment Pillar as needed.

Your tasks:
* Technical and scientific regulatory interpretation for JTI products
* Conduction of regulatory compliance checks for potential new ingredients and assessment of product regulatory compliance for product launches in new markets
* Collaboration with Agile Testing & Packaging Assessment Team to construct and perform material testing
* Qualification of materials, including SRA input in PLM and the Change Order approval in SAP
* Retrieval of new component formulations from JTI worldwide suppliers and manufacturers under appropriate confidentiality arrangements
Your profile:
* Relevant educational background: University Degree in technical/scientific subject; Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Toxicology preferred
* Practical experience: +5 years of working experience in the scientific and regulatory affairs area, preferably in the area of material and ingredient assessment. Profound knowledge of material and product testing; e.g. smoke/vapor analysis, including evaluation of results
* Valuable knowledge: Knowledge of the manufacturing processes and proven experience in the assessment of materials, tobacco products reduced risk products including assessment of testing data
* Special strengths: Expertise in worldwide regulations and standards concerning tobacco products, reduced risk products and electrical consumer goods
* Suitable personality: Good knowledge of common PC software (MS Office, SAP, etc.) is mandatory. Previous experience with SQL-Databases would be beneficial
