Ihre Aufgaben As a Senior Trading Manager Americas (m/f/d), you will be responsible for developing and implementing the trading strategy in your region. Your tasks will include: Development and managing a network of internal and external business partners focused on connecting existing markets, sources and volume streams to the North American continent Negotiating and executing sales and procurement contracts for all product lines for supplementary cementitious materials (SCM) Collaborating closely with the Operations, Legal, and Finance departments, as well as with trading colleagues in other regions Managing trading risks within the assigned decision-making authority Maximizing trading volume and return on invested capital (ROIC) with third-party customers, while ensuring a stable supply for own entities Supporting the capital project team in developing and implementing logistical assets to expand the trading business Identifying and developing new business opportunities and establishing long-term relationships with new customers and suppliers Ensuring import/export volume targets and meeting budget requirements for volume and trading margins through effective risk management Creating value for the group through strategic trading decisions, performance tracking, and sustainable business development Ensuring efficient trade execution by working closely with internal support functions such as Operations and Financial Management Collecting and analyzing market information to support business planning, including price and demand trends, strategic footprint optimization, and competitive monitoring Coordinating with the Operations department to provide timely relevant information and ensure proper documentation and execution of transactions Ihr Profil Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in trading of (supplementary) cementitious materials Established industry network and deep understanding of the (Northern) American cement market Strong knowledge of international seaborne trade, maritime regulations, and logistics Comprehensive understanding of (supplementary) cementitious materials, their properties, and applications Strong negotiation and communication skills Collaborative team player with strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are a plus Interest in geopolitical issues and international markets Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 25%) Warum wir?
