The primary objective for this position is to provide a working student with hands-on experience in the area of accounting. The student will support the accounting team in preparing financial data for our external accountant and assist in communication with internal auditors and travel expense experts. Responsibilities also include maintaining accounting and payment records across various databases. This role involves close collaboration with all operational departments to ensure accurate documentation and a consistent, reliable flow of financial information. Key tasks: Process travel expense reports submitted by internal auditors and experts, including correspondence for clarification when needed. Forward approved travel expenses to the external accountant for further processing. Manage and process incoming supplier invoices, ensuring proper documentation and storage in internal databases. Maintain accurate payment records within our financial databases. Communicate with the external accountant regarding incoming invoices and travel expense matters. Provide support to other departments as needed. Assist with special projects as assigned by the Team Lead Accounting or Head of Finance and Planning.
